Tanzania: mFarms training and workshop

Image-AD in collaboration with The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) organized a two-day workshop on May 12-13, 2014 – in Dar es Salaam for agribusinesses in Tanzania.

The workshop, which brought together over 15 organizations based in Tanzania, provided training to participants on mfarms which is a one of the Market Information platform developed by Image-Ad. The training was to help participants, particularly smallholder farmers, discover better and easy way of accessing and using market information that will improve their business operations , and ultimately their livelihoods. Attended were AGRA grantees from IITA, BriTEN, RUDI, Center for Development Initiatives [CSDI], Tanzania warehouse Licensing Board, Agro dealers Company Ltd and some Small and Medium Enterprises (SME).
